Marking Guide

TydenBrammall’s accountability tracking stops intruders from breaking your seal and applying another. With a variety of marking options, you can quickly match your seal’s individual identification number with the original paperwork and know whether it has been broken. Gain this confidence by choosing any of the options below.

Cold Stamping

Fabrication process in which letters and/or numbers are firmly pressed against the surface of the seal to leave an imprint for expanded marking capabilities and improved tamper resistance.

Embossing

An impression that raises the surface of the seal with letters and/or numbers. The process is relatively inexpensive and used for expanded marking capabilities and improved tamper resistance.

Hot Foil

Process that uses heat and pressure to add depth to marking capabilities for improved tamper resistance. It presses the foil against the seal material with enough pressure that the foil sticks, leaving an imprint of letters and/or numbers.

Ink Jet

Computer-controlled printing process that uses large, easy-to-read, high-contrast letters and/or numbers for expanded marking capabilities and improved tamper resistance. Bar coding is also available for further tracking accuracy.

Laser Tag Serial Number Transfer System

Unique to the cargo industry, Laser Tag technology burns an identification number into the seal lock body and label simultaneously. The label is removed and placed directly on shipping documents, ensuring accuracy and security, and vastly reducing administrative errors.

Laser

Computer-controlled printing process that uses large, laser-engraved letters and/or numbers for expanded marking capabilities and improved tamper resistance. Bar coding and company logos are also available for further tracking accuracy.

Bar Coding

Additional marking capability that provides automatic identification and data collection intelligence. Expands marking capabilities and improves tamper resistance ensuring accuracy and security, and vastly reducing potential for administrative error.

Label

Inexpensive, self-adhesive labels that are constructed to tear into many small pieces to indicate tampering. Letters, numbers, bar coding and/or company logos are available for expanded marking capabilities and improved tamper resistance.
